The International Day of Climate Action is on October 24th annually and is a global day dedicated to raising awareness about climate change and inspiring action to protect the planet. It was first organized in 2009 before the United Nations climate summit and serves as a call for governments, businesses, and individuals to reduce emissions and promote a sustainable future.  
Any local Punta Banda residents who are interested in climate change, its effects on our local environment, and potential local solutions should save November 15th and/or 29th on your calendars to attend Climate Action Workshops put on by Laura Ibarra at the Campo La Jolla salon.
