On May 30, Pro Esteros will be installing temporary fencing in preparation of the arrival of our least tern breeding colony!!! If you’re interested in participating or just taking a walk down the beach to check it out, contact El Berryman at (530) 798-1945. We would gather around 9 am at the Gertrude Pearlman theater parking lot (Pro Esteros meets at 8 am in Ensenada), carpool to the end of the houses on the spit, and walk to the end of the spit where we would meet Pro Esteros. The walk on the beach is a couple of miles.
