I-Naturalist Challenge

I-Naturalist Challenge! This is a four-day national event (April 24 to 27) throughout the U.S., and the Punta Banda Conservation Alliance is going to host a local event in Punta Banda on April 25. We’ll be taking part in the largest community science biodiversity census in the world while helping scientists better understand local biodiversity. Participants will download I-Naturalist onto their phones and be given instructions on how to use it, for those unfamiliar with the app. Then participants will walk along a designated path and document plants and animals along the way, using I-Naturalist to identify and record the species.

Time and meeting place will be posted on the calendar closer to the event.
