On December 20, 2020, the Christmas Bird Count will be conducted by Mujeres en Parvada around the Punta Banda estuary. This event is organized worldwide by the National Audubon Society. During this event for Ensenada, different teams will cover various sectors of the city, within a 12 km radius, counting and collecting data on all the birds observed that day. This citizen science event helps monitor changes in the local biodiversity and global bird distribution trends.
Meet 7 am at “the dike” along the road adjacent to the Fisher Camp parking lot. We will post a map closer to the time of the event.
